Senior Leadership Position

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced individual to lead and develop teams in the family support sector.

About the Role:

  • Provide high-level leadership and operational support to a high-risk area, ensuring service standards are met and processes are in place to maintain these standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, build, and maintain relationships with stakeholders to enhance client outcomes.
  • Develop program budgets in consultation with senior management.
  • Participate in an on-call roster, providing support to colleagues as needed.
  • Buikd a supportive culture that focuses on creativity, innovation, and effective partnerships.
  • Travel to other sites in the surrounding locations of Bendigo.

Requirements:

  • A relevant tertiary degree in social work, welfare, psychology, management, or related disciplines, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, manage competing demands, and respond/support those in crises.
  • A current Working with Children Check and Police Check.
  • A current Vic driver's license and own vehicle.
  • Experience in planning, development, budgeting, and management in human services.
  • Demonstrated understanding of family violence and family services.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience leading large teams and ensuring they are run effectively.
  • Prior knowledge of Family Safety Victoria and their policies and procedures.
