Job Overview

The Overnight Guest Service Agent plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless hotel operations. This position is ideal for individuals who excel at delivering exceptional guest experiences, handling multiple tasks with ease, and working effectively within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Front Office operations on a day-to-day basis to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Provide prompt and effective responses to guest queries, leveraging strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Prepare accurate reservations for arrivals and departures, taking into account guest preferences and loyalty status.
  • Process payments for guest check-outs, including posting payments and managing EFTPOS transactions.
  • Maintain public and back-of-house areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Upsell and cross-sell hotel services and outlets to enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Engage guests by sharing knowledge about local attractions, restaurants, and bars.

Requirements:

  • Be adaptable to work a rotating 24/7 roster, including weekends, public holidays, and overnights.
  • Possess exceptional time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Display a genuine passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest service.
  • Develop superior guest service skills, along with effective service resolution techniques.
  • Previous experience in guest relations or front office environments is highly advantageous.
