National Education Correspondent

Our organisation is seeking a highly skilled National Education Correspondent to join our team.
The successful candidate will cover Australia's education sector, delivering daily news and in-depth investigative pieces. They will build and develop relationships with key stakeholders, including academics and other education professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Lead coverage of Australia's education sector, producing high-quality content under tight deadlines.
- Develop and maintain a network of contacts within the academe and other education stakeholders.
- Pursue breaking news stories and produce timely and informative content.
- Several years' experience reporting on the education sector.
- Strong reporting and interviewing skills, with the ability to produce high-quality content under pressure.
- Established list of academic contacts and relationships with education stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of the Australian private/public education system and related policy issues.
