In this nighttime care position, you'll be part of a team making a positive impact on the lives of individuals with disabilities through accommodation and community engagement. We focus on personalized support, working closely with our customers to help them reach their full potential.

This overnight sleep position is based in Yangebup and requires experience with Dementia Awareness, Epilepsy, and Midazolam. Review the attached roster and apply if these hours suit your lifestyle and availability.

This role involves delivering domestic supports within high-needs residences, supporting person-centred plans, and ensuring adherence to behaviour support plans. Key duties include:

  • Providing a wide range of domestic supports within customer residences
  • Supporting individualized plans that identify life goals
  • Ensuring positive behaviour support plans are followed
  • Administration duties, expense reports, and mandatory paperwork

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Experience with Dementia Awareness, Epilepsy, and Midazolam
  • Extensive experience supporting customers with behaviour support plans
  • Previous experience with manual handling and medication administration
  • Significant personal care and domestic duties experience
  • Ability to manage complex situations with patience and maturity
  • Cert III in Disability, Individual Support, or higher is essential
  • Willingness to use your fully insured and registered vehicle (aligned with Activ's motor vehicle allowance rebate)
