About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Landscape Architect to join our team at Sutherland Shire Council. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the landscape of the Shire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice on landscape matters, ensuring compliance with approvals and regulations.
  • Participate in exciting projects such as street tree planting programs, collaborating with stakeholders to achieve high-quality environmental outcomes.
  • Contribute to the strategic development of the Shire's landscape, working collaboratively with a variety of professionals and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and review landscape plans for diverse sites, utilizing your expertise in horticulture and landscape architecture.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in landscape architecture, horticulture, arboriculture, or a related field.
  • Experience in preparing or reviewing landscape plans for diverse sites.
  • Strong communication and customer relation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of professionals and stakeholders.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary package of $82,000 - $112,000 gross p.a. plus 11% superannuation.
  • 35 hours per week with option of 19 day month flex time arrangement.
