
Lived Experience Ambassador

This is a dynamic opportunity to drive lived experience forward in our organization. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the voice of lived experience is central to our work.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with our Family Liaison Practitioner to support families and their loved ones through investigations into patient safety issues or complaints.
- Manage family interactions and liaise with investigating officers to ensure respectful and professional treatment.
- Embed lived experience into feedback and quality improvement processes.
- Influence patient, service user, and carer voices in the Chief Nursing Officer's portfolio and Trust strategies.

- Degree level education or equivalent experience.
- Ongoing professional development in relevant areas.
- Training in mental health, learning disabilities, or autism.
- Quality Improvement qualification.
- Accessible information training (e.g., easy read, Makaton).

- Building relationships and facilitating co-produced outcomes.
- Organizational and analytical skills.
- Reporting and statistical data interpretation.
- Proficiency with word processing, databases, spreadsheets.
- Flexibility and adaptability.
- Working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy and reassurance abilities.
- Computer literacy (Power Point, Excel, SPSS).
- Knowledge of NHS feedback and complaints processes.
