This role will involve working closely with our Senior HR Business Partner to support key initiatives, manage employee relations, and provide expert advice on human resources solutions. You will also be responsible for lifting employee engagement, delivering best-practice HR solutions, and navigating organizational change with confidence.
As an HR Generalist, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects and initiatives, including developing and implementing new policies and practices, managing organizational change, and providing coaching and training to employees.
Key Responsibilities:- Supporting business units with end-to-end HR initiatives, working with senior leaders and line leaders to build and implement human resources solutions in line with business needs
- Providing recommendations and solutions covering multiple areas of Human Resources, employee development, communications, compensation, benefits, HRIS management, diversity and inclusion, psychosocial/psychological safety, employee relations, organizational planning, and organizational change management
- Providing interpretation and counsel to leaders regarding policies, programs, and practices
- Researching issues and developing solutions to resolve business issues, while considering organizational requirements
- Supporting the development and implementation of new policies, practices, and programs to meet organizational and business needs
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or similar field
- 2-3+ years of experience in junior HR Business Partnering or Advisory role
- Solid consulting, negotiation, and facilitation skills
- Good knowledge of Human Resource organizational policies and practices
- Tried and tested knowledge of generalist Human Resources best practice
- Relationship management and influencing skills
- Understanding of the Australian employment law landscape
