Reliable Mechanical Maintenance Leader

About the Role:
Mineral Resources (MinRes) is a leading diversified resources company seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Superintendent to lead our mechanical maintenance team at the Wodgina mine site. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and performance of all mechanical equipment, overseeing maintenance activities, and fostering a culture of safety and efficiency within your team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of electrical and mechanical maintenance technicians, ensuring a high level of performance and engagement.
- Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments, promoting a safety culture within the team.
- Monitor maintenance KPIs and prepare reports to evaluate performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Work closely with other departments, such as operations and planning, to ensure alignment of maintenance activities with site objectives.
About You:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within the mining and resources industry, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Australian recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification.
- Strong and practical communication skills and ability to work cohesively within a team.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Proficient in maintenance management software and MS Office Suite.

Located 110 kilometres by road south of Port Hedland in the Pilbara region, Wodgina is one of the largest known hard rock lithium deposits in the world. As a Tier 1 asset, Wodgina is central to MinRes' Lithium division and its large village hosts 900 rooms.
