About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Maintenance Superintendent to lead our mechanical maintenance team at the Wodgina mine site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of electrical and mechanical maintenance technicians, ensuring a high level of performance and engagement.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments, promoting a safety culture within the team.
  • Monitor maintenance KPIs and prepare reports to evaluate performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as operations and planning, to ensure alignment of maintenance activities with site objectives.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within the mining and resources industry, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Australian recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification.
  • Strong and practical communication skills and ability to work cohesively within a team.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in maintenance management software and MS Office Suite.
