As a power engineering professional, you will play a key role in delivering high-value projects across Australasia. The position involves leading the technical delivery of Primary/HV projects from feasibility to detail designs and owner's engineer.

  • Develop and mentor junior engineers in electrical engineering disciplines, driving growth and development within the team.
  • Design and lead the primary design of high voltage substations and other related infrastructure, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
  • Collaborate with engineering and project teams to deliver successful outcomes and train junior staff on electrical engineering skills.

  • Lead the technical delivery of Primary/HV projects from feasibility to detail designs and owner's engineer.
">Engineering Development:">
  • Develop and mentor junior engineers in electrical engineering disciplines.
">Infrastructure Design:">
  • Design and lead the primary design of high voltage substations and other related infrastructure.
">Training and Collaboration:">
  • Train junior staff on electrical engineering skills and collaborate with engineering and project teams.
">Requirements:">Engineering Skills:">
  • A strong understanding of a range of engineering disciplines, including electricity transmission, distribution, and traction power projects.
  • Experience in substation primary engineering positions across HV/EHV substations design (up to 500kV).
  • Proficiency in engineering software for design.
">Organisational Skills:">
  • Strong organisational skills, adaptability, and ability to think outside the box.
">Communication Skills:">
  • Excellent communication skills to manage stakeholder relationships.
">Education:">
  • Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering.
