Position Summary
Reporting directly to the Chief Information and Digital Officer, the Organisational Change Strategist is responsible for establishing and leading change management practices. This pivotal role is essential for driving transformative and sustainable change within the organization. As the Organisational Change Strategist, you will architect strategic initiatives, enhancing change management capabilities by overseeing the planning, execution, and integration of change initiatives that align with the organization's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement change management strategies and frameworks to support organizational objectives.
- Drive the change vision, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, and oversee the execution of change initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to create engagement strategies that facilitate effective communication and foster buy-in.
- Provide mentorship to executives on change methodologies and offer technical support as needed.
- Establish metrics to assess the impact of change initiatives and refine practices accordingly.
- Identify potential risks and prepare stakeholders for upcoming changes.
- Make informed strategic decisions and prioritize initiatives while keeping leadership informed.
- Align change initiatives with complex systems, secure necessary resources, and promote a culture of innovation.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in change management within large, complex organizations.
- Understanding of industry trends and their implications for organizational change.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and team guidance capabilities.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale change initiatives successfully.
- Experience leading high-performing teams in dynamic environments.
- Executive-level experience in regulated and complex sectors.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
- Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Expertise in financial management and governance.
Work Conditions
- Security Clearance: Baseline required.
- Australian Citizenship is mandatory.
- Flexible hybrid working arrangement: 3 days in the office and 2 days WFH.
