Our Nutrition and Dietetics Department is a dynamic team providing services to inpatients, outpatients, and home & community programs.

About the Opportunity

This is a 2-year role for a New Graduate Dietitian to develop their clinical nutrition skills in a supportive environment. In the first year, you will work in our Sub-acute and Ambulatory Care Streams, followed by the Specialist Medicine Stream in the second year.

Each stream has an allocated Senior Dietitian as the Stream Leader. You will contribute to quality improvement initiatives or research and have a primary workload allocation inpatient wards and outpatient clinics.

About You

To be successful, you will:

  • Be qualified to practice as a dietitian in Australia as recognised by Dietitians Australia (DA) and meet the APD program criteria.
  • Have graduated from a Master of Dietetics course in, or after, 2023.
  • Be enthusiastic, self-motivated, reflective, and willing to learn.
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Be hardworking with exemplar organisational skills, including efficient workload management and ability to prioritise.
