Job Title: Nutrition Support Professional

Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, supporting patient nutrition care. You will be working under the supervision of a registered dietitian, assisting patients with menu selections and acting as a liaison between the dietetics department, nursing, and food service personnel.

The Role

As a Nutrition Support Professional, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to patients, ensuring their nutritional needs are met. This will involve working closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans.

You will also have the opportunity to participate in targeted clinical stream education programs, affiliated with university partners, to further enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent experience with a willingness to work towards certification
  • Proven interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Computer literacy or willingness to learn
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
