Job Title: Commercial Finance Professional

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Finance Professional to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing and updating product costings, BOMs, and standard costs.

You will work closely with operational managers to provide insights into performance and cost-saving initiatives. Your experience in management accounting within a manufacturing setting will be valuable in this role.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in commercial finance, with strong knowledge of cost accounting, variances, and standard costing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and update product costings, BOMs, and standard costs
  • Monitor and report on production variances (yield, wastage, efficiency)
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and dashboards
  • Support budgeting and forecasting cycles with accurate cost assumptions
  • Partner with operational managers to provide insights into performance and cost-saving initiatives
  • Analyse inventory movements and valuations
Requirements
  • Proven experience in commercial finance within a manufacturing, FMCG, or production setting
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting, variances, and standard costing
  • Experience with ERP systems (JDE desirable, but not essential)
  • Ability to work independently, hit the ground running, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • CA/CPA qualification (or studying towards) preferred, but not essential
About Us

This is a fixed-term contract role, with the possibility of going permanent for the right person. Hybrid working arrangements are available, with on-site parking available.
