Job Overview

This dynamic role shapes the trading experience for high-net-worth investors and institutional traders. As our Senior Sales Trader, you will use market knowledge to guide investment decisions while building your reputation as a trusted adviser in the derivatives space.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop strategies to grow professional trading volumes across Australia.
  • Identify opportunities and market segments to strengthen sales proposition.
  • Deliver seminars, workshops, and tailored educational events.
  • Build relationships with top-tier clients, driving acquisition and retention.
  • Execute trades providing strategic market insights and guidance.
  • Handle complex queries and deliver sophisticated market commentary.
  • Support Head of Premium Client Management in delivering office targets.
  • Mentor and train sales trading team.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years' experience in derivative and financial sales with proven track record in B2C or B2B relationships.
  • Strong network and client base - ability to bring existing relationships is valued.
  • Deep knowledge of global financial markets with analytical skills to communicate complex concepts.
  • High-pressure performance ability with excellent attention to detail.
  • Professional qualifications including tertiary degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field, plus certification.
  • Technical expertise in platform and phone dealing processes with proven ability to execute trades accurately.
  • Outstanding communication skills with telephone manner and interpersonal abilities.
  • Full working rights to work in Australia permanently.
