We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team in Sydney, Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and overseeing derivatives activities within our organization.

">About the Role

The Derivatives Analyst will work closely with business stakeholders, providing second-line monitoring, feedback, and recommendations to ensure robust controls, effective risk management, and alignment with our risk appetite.

Key responsibilities include developing and conducting oversight and monitoring of derivatives activities, acting as the second line of defence, reviewing and monitoring client communications, performing compliance monitoring, and collaborating with the Business Analytics team to develop and maintain a derivatives data warehouse using Power BI.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ year of experience with derivatives, ideally in FX options, strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail, ability to work independently as a self-starter while contributing effectively in a team environment, and confident communication skills.
