Logistics Operations Associate Manager Job Description

The ideal candidate will oversee and optimize logistics operations across Australia and New Zealand, with a focus on warehouse management and secondary transportation. Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage logistics service providers to meet budget and operational key performance indicators (KPIs). Lead regular performance reviews and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of warehouses, ensuring compliance with local transport regulations and FMCG-specific handling requirements.
  • Deliver on budget expectations and identify opportunities for sustainable cost savings without compromising service quality.
  • Lead risk assessments and contingency planning for supply chain disruptions.
  • Stakeholder management – Business, International transport team, Inventory team, Finance & Planning.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in warehouse operations and LSP management, preferably in FMCG.
  • In-depth knowledge of demand and supply chain principles and 3PL/LSP management.
  • Ability to build strong business partnerships and foster external collaboration.
  • Significant experience with Lean practices; Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification preferred.
