Our team is looking for an experienced and skilled Batch Manager to join our dynamic operations at a state-of-the-art concrete plant.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient batching and loading of concrete, while actively participating in day-to-day site operations and proficiently operating both plant and mobile equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurate batching of orders to specified mix designs using dedicated programs and systems
  • Safe operation of front-end loader to weigh up materials for batching
  • Managing day-to-day administration including stock control of raw materials and monthly forecasts
  • Participation in safety initiatives including pre-starts, toolboxes and incident reporting
  • General yard housekeeping and maintenance

Requirements:

  • Interest in the concrete industry with full training provided
  • Sound computer skills working with multiple systems and safety reporting
  • Flexibility and willingness to cover several responsibilities across the plant as required
