We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the well-being of our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and carers to provide individualised care and support.
- Assume a leadership role within the nursing team, supporting, coaching, and leading nursing staff to achieve excellence in patient care.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate specific mental health nursing care activities that promote safe practice and optimal outcomes.
Requirements:
- Registration as a Registered Nurse – Division 1 with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Current mental health, drug, and alcohol clinical knowledge and problem-solving ability to inform best practice.
