High-quality support is urgently needed for individuals living with disabilities. A dedicated role is available to provide care and support in clients' homes and accompany them to various appointments and community engagements.

This position involves a combination of in-home support and client outings. The focus will be on promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Personal care and support in clients' homes (e.g., hygiene, grooming, meal preparation).
  • Accompanying clients to appointments, shopping, and community activities.
  • Supporting clients with daily routines and encouraging independence.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and progress notes.
  • FOLLOWING individual support plans and reporting any changes or concerns.
  • Promoting a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff.

About You:

  • Previous experience in disability support or similar role is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
  • A caring, patient, and respectful approach is required.
  • Ability to work independently and use sound judgment.
  • Must have a current driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts (including weekends if required).

Requirements:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain).
  • First Aid & CPR Certificate (current).
  • Working With Children Check (if applicable).
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccinations (if required).
  • Relevant qualifications in Disability, Aged Care, or Community Services (desirable).
