Senior Disability Support Specialist

This role involves overseeing person-centred, high-quality services for individuals with disabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing intake and engagement for independent, short-term, and medium-term accommodation while providing intensive, recovery-focused support for individuals with complex needs, such as those with a history of homelessness, addiction, and dual disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinating participant intake and engagement
- Monitoring participant wellbeing, progress, and support needs
- Ensuring compliance with NDIS standards, policies, and procedures
- Collaborating with teams to match participants with appropriate support staff
- Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting
- Supporting continuous improvement and maintaining audit readiness
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will be highly organized and able to manage competing priorities, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality outcomes for participants.
The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic team committed to excellence in service delivery. The role requires a strong understanding of disability support principles and practices, as well as exceptional problem-solving and crisis management skills.
