We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable **Disability Support Worker** to join our team at Dignified Caring. In this role, you will provide high-quality support to individuals living with disabilities—both at home and in the community.

This position involves a combination of in-home support and accompanying clients to various appointments and community engagements. Your focus will be on promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide personal care and support in clients' homes (e.g., hygiene, grooming, meal preparation).
- Accompany clients to appointments, shopping, and community activities.
- Support clients with their daily routines and encourage independence.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes.
- Follow individual support plans and report any changes or concerns.
- Promote a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff.

**About You**:

- Previous experience in disability support or similar role is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A caring, patient, and respectful approach.
- Ability to work independently and use sound judgment.
- Must have a current driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts (including weekends if required).

**Requirements**:

- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain).
- First Aid & CPR Certificate (current).
- Working With Children Check (if applicable).
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccinations (if required).
- Relevant qualifications in Disability, Aged Care, or Community Services (desirable).
