
Manufacturing Process Improvement Specialist

We are seeking an accomplished professional to join our high-performing Operations Team in a role focused on delivering measurable improvements across cost, quality, safety and customer satisfaction.
This is a hands-on position where you will lead and support improvement projects, embed LEAN methodologies and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Key Responsibilities- Lead cross-functional business improvement projects to deliver tangible performance outcomes in cost, quality and safety.
- Mentor and train team members in LEAN principles, process mapping and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Coach operations staff and leaders to embed sustainable improvement practices.
- Partner with Operations Managers to identify opportunities, develop ROI-based business cases and manage project plans.
- Facilitate workshops and capability-building sessions to enhance operational excellence.
- Sustain strong working relationships across Operations, Engineering, Projects and HSEQ teams.
- Recommend and implement business improvement tools and initiatives that drive ongoing engagement and results.
- Trade qualifications or equivalent experience in a related field.
- LEAN Manufacturing qualifications and a strong practical understanding of LEAN methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience leading business improvement initiatives in an industrial environment.
- Ability to map processes, develop value stream diagrams and lead problem-solving initiatives.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise workloads and drive outcomes.
- Strong facilitation, training and leadership skills.
