Civil Project Cost Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Construction Estimator to play a pivotal role in delivering major infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop accurate cost estimates and budgets in collaboration with project teams.
- Manage tendering and procurement processes, including preparing documentation and evaluating bids.
- Administer and negotiate contracts, ensuring variations and claims are managed effectively.
- Monitor project budgets, track costs, and provide clear financial reporting.
- Identify and implement value engineering opportunities to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
- Conduct cost risk assessments and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Estimator in civil construction and remediation projects.
- In-depth knowledge of remediation practices, public infrastructure works, and local authority project requirements.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and relevant Australian standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and estimating software.
