Cyber Security Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Software Engineer to join our team at Macquarie. In this role, you will be designing, developing, testing and improving our technology to manage vulnerabilities across our IT environment.

You will provide core development capabilities and help mentor and support junior members of the team. Your experience in RESTful API and microservice development using Golang or Java is essential.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing secure software solutions
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices
  • Mentoring and guiding junior engineers to improve their skills
  • Troubleshooting issues and optimizing existing systems

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes hybrid and flexible working arrangements, one wellbeing leave day per year and up to five additional days leave based on length of service, and access to a wide range of learning and development opportunities.
