About the Role

The Integrated Family Services Practitioner will deliver day-to-day services to isolated and vulnerable families, providing family/parenting and multi-faceted interventions through our Integrated Family Services and Intensive Family Services programs. You will work towards genuine and positive outcomes for clients, utilizing a child-focused family-centred approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality programs to isolated and vulnerable families, promoting positive outcomes and empowering clients to reach their full potential.
  • Collaborate with a range of professionals in a care team approach, ensuring effective support and coordination.
  • Engage with vulnerable children, young people, and families, utilizing a child-focused family-centred approach and delivering a range of interventions to improve their outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Early Childhood Specialist, or related behavioural sciences, with relevant experience.
  • A sound understanding of the Child Protection and welfare system, with experience in collaboration with a range of professionals.
  • Demonstrated experience in actively engaging vulnerable children, young people, and families, utilizing a child-focused family-centred approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, time management, and organisational skills.
