About the Project

The Illabo to Stockinbingal section of Inland Rail has recently been awarded by John Holland in NSW.

This section includes 39km of new rail corridor located within the local government areas of Junee and Cootamundra-Gundagai.

It will provide a direct route from east of Illabo, tracking north to Stockinbingal and connecting into the existing Forbes rail line.

About The Role

We are seeking an Area Manager who will lead site engineers, supervisors, and teams working on bulk earthworks projects.

  • Provide operational management to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
  • Develop strategic plans for the earthworks department, including improvements in processes and the incorporation of new technologies.
  • Encourage innovative practices and technologies to improve efficiency and productivity in earthworks operations.
  • Apply contemporary construction methodologies to complete assigned works in compliance with client expectations, company objectives, and contractual obligations.
Key Requirements
  • Degree qualified Civil Engineer, Construction Management, or similar field.
  • Previous experience within a Tier One contractor.
  • Delivery of infrastructure projects, with exposure to Civil, Earthworks, Roadworks, and Rail construction.
  • Exposure or knowledge in material processing, crushing, screening, and blasting.
  • PASSION FOR TEAMWORK AND DELIVERING ON TIGHT DEADLINES.
