Job Overview:

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Care Support Specialist to provide personalized care and support to individuals with disabilities. The successful candidate will play a vital role in enabling our clients to live independently and engage fully with their communities.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, be able to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team, and demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care and domestic assistance to clients
  • Assisting clients with daily living tasks and activities
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients and their families
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care services
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance client outcomes

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certification in Individual Support or a related field (e.g., Mental Health, Aged Care, Community Services)
  • Current Working with Children Check, National Police Certificate, and First Aid Certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with clients
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
