Job Title: Support Care Specialist
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Support Care Specialist. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional care and support to individuals requiring assistance with daily living activities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal hygiene, grooming, and toileting needs
- Support mobility and dexterity requirements
- Aid with transfers and lifting using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their glasses and hearing aids
- Distribute clean laundry and attire as needed
- Clean and maintain equipment, utensils, and personal items
- Provide transportation for clients to appointments and activities
- Support clients with special needs and requirements
- Assist with self-administration of medication according to established protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide routine treatments and procedures
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to work effectively within a dynamic team environment
- Strong communication skills, adept at relating to individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines and completing tasks efficiently
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information
