Senior Officer Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Officer to manage grants and priorities with accuracy, utilising sound judgement and strong time management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpreting and applying policy, legislation and procedures within a government context.
  • Handling complex or sensitive matters.
  • Providing timely, accurate advice and building relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior staff, supporting team capability and performance.
  • Using systems to manage tasks, budgets and evidence-based reporting.
  • Preparing high-quality documents such as briefings, reports and correspondence.
  • Supporting strategic planning, business improvement initiatives and change implementation.
  • Leading or supporting project management and secretariat duties as needed.
Requirements
  • Baseline Clearance required.
  • Prior to employment, candidates will undergo a pre-employment National Police Check.
