Key Role Summary

This is a vital leadership position where you will spearhead relationships with regulatory bodies and ensure subject matter expertise is applied effectively.

The Team You Will Be Part Of

You will collaborate on a diverse range of issues important to Australia's financial system, working closely with various functions across the organisation.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies for engaging with external stakeholders and government agencies;
  • Contribute to policy work and public appearances by executives;
  • Stay informed about industry developments and monitor regulatory changes that may impact our objectives;
  • Design and execute stakeholder engagement strategies that support strategic priorities and manage organisational risk;
  • Collaborate with teams to deliver desired outcomes and engage cross-functionally to bring together subject matter experts;
  • Brief senior executives and provide strategic advice on handling sensitive matters with external stakeholders;
  • Provide input on draft legislation to relevant authorities.
About The Ideal Candidate
  • A results-driven team player with sophisticated operational acumen, personal impact, critical thinking, and technical expertise;
  • Ability to synthesise complex information on a range of topics and thrive in a fast-paced environment;
  • Tertiary qualifications in economics, public policy, or law would be advantageous; and
  • Desirable experience working in or sound knowledge of the Australian financial system, prudential regulation, and/or Australia's Parliamentary system.

Applicants must be Australian citizens eligible for Baseline Security clearance through the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency.
