**Job Title:** Regulatory Affairs and Engagement Specialist

Join us in shaping the future of risk management.

Job Description:

As a Regulatory Affairs and Engagement Specialist, you will play a key role in working with a wide range of stakeholders to help meet obligations related to operational resilience, governance, and contagion risk. You will provide timely and accurate advice on regulatory requirements and expectations to staff and businesses, reviewing proposed new business and transactions for compliance.

You will also support Macquarie's businesses in non-financial risk matters relating to Intragroup transactions, operational resilience, and governance. Additionally, you will provide Line 2 review and challenge in relation to frameworks that support compliance with key prudential standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

We are looking for individuals who can conceptualize abstract ideas and take pride in getting the details right while remaining aware of the bigger picture. Strong communication and relationship management skills are essential, as well as experience in financial services in a risk, treasury, regulatory compliance, or legal role.

Tertiary qualifications in finance, economics, accounting, or law are valuable. We value intellectual curiosity and critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to collaborate and engage with a broad cross-section of individuals.

Benefits:

At Macquarie, we offer a supportive team environment where everyone contributes ideas and drives outcomes. You will be part of a global financial services group operating in 31 markets and have opportunities for career growth and development.

We foster a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace and encourage people from all backgrounds to apply. We welcome further discussions on how you can feel included and belong at Macquarie as you progress through our recruitment process.

Others:

Our Risk Management Group works independently and objectively, providing oversight, monitoring, and reporting on material risks. Our divisions include compliance, credit, financial crime risk, internal audit, market risk, operational risk, aggregate risk, and prudential.
