The Opportunity:
We seek an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our workshop team in Adelaide, based in the Cavan branch. This role involves preparing new earthmoving equipment to customer specifications and providing diagnostic, repair, and maintenance services in a professional, timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fully qualified diesel mechanic required for preparation, diagnostic, repairs, and maintenance of heavy equipment as per manufacturer specs.
- Pre-delivery inspection and testing of new machinery.
- Maintenance and repair of hydraulic components on earthmoving equipment.
- Ensuring all work is performed safely and efficiently.
To be successful in this role you should have:
- A minimum Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience with overhaul, repair, and servicing of mechanical and hydraulic components on earthmoving equipment.
- Strong technical knowledge and diagnostic ability.
- A commitment to quality workmanship and safety policies.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
