We are seeking a Senior Trade Planning Manager to join our team, responsible for developing and building promotional planning strategies that drive commercial outcomes while delivering a customer-centric execution plan.

About the role

This is a high-profile position that will lead cross-functional collaboration across Commercial, Customer, Operations and Supply Chain teams to foster business growth through effective trade planning. The successful candidate will be an expert in category management, with extensive retail experience in comparable commercial roles and leadership responsibilities.

  • Develop multi-horizon promotional plans that align with category strategies, supplier agreements, and market dynamics.
  • Own analysis of insights to identify growth opportunities within Fresh Produce and make recommendations based on these findings.
  • Establish processes for ongoing reviews of promotional effectiveness, aligning with customer trends and seasonal dynamics.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Extensive retail experience in a comparable commercial role, with commercial and leadership responsibilities delivering against KPI targets.
  • Prior experience within Fresh Produce is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated strong financial expertise within a business unit context, utilising financial analysis to drive strategic decision-making and optimise performance.
  • Comprehensive category management experience, optimising product offerings, pricing and promotions to drive growth and align with business goals.
  • Experience in building and executing a trade plan.
  • Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally with various stakeholders and managing effective relationships internally and externally.
