Senior Analyst

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Analyst to join our team, responsible for developing, validating, and monitoring credit risk models. You will be part of the Market Risk, Credit Models & Insights function within Group Risk.

This role requires a deep understanding of credit risk modelling techniques and regulatory frameworks, with proficiency in R, SAS, Python, SQL, and Excel. You must have excellent communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Key responsibilities include leading the development, validation, and monitoring of credit risk models (PD, LGD, EAD, scorecards, and rating models), ensuring models meet regulatory and internal governance standards, collaborating with stakeholders across risk, finance, and business units, building and maintaining automated tools and dashboards for model performance tracking and reporting, contributing to regulatory submissions, and responding to audit and assurance reviews.

As a Senior Analyst, you will also be expected to mentor junior team members and support knowledge sharing across the team. This is a unique opportunity to apply your technical expertise in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment that values innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or postgraduate degree in a quantitative discipline
