This role involves conducting comprehensive risk assessments of high-risk sellers, developing frameworks for principled risk-taking in new markets and products, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for operational improvements.
About the Position:We are seeking a skilled Risk Operations Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough credit assessments, supporting risk onboarding and merchant onboarding operations, and partnering with sales, legal, finance, and strategy teams to optimise merchant processes.
Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough credit assessments of high-risk sellers, including website analysis, non-delivery risk evaluation, and exposure calculations.
- Develop and implement frameworks that enable principled risk-taking in new markets and products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for operational improvements and implement strategic programs.
- At least 2 years of experience in commercial banking, commercial credit, or the payments industry.
- Strong understanding of KYC, KYB, and merchant onboarding processes in ANZ.
- Proficiency in credit assessment and risk operations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong internal and external communication skills, with the ability to engage clients and stakeholders effectively.
