The Regional Weeds Coordinator plays a pivotal role in safeguarding Tasmania's Cradle Coast Region from invasive weeds.

This position forms part of the Cradle Coast Priority Weeds Project, requiring coordination and implementation of initiatives to identify, manage and control priority weeds across the region.

  • Engage with stakeholders to develop and implement comprehensive weed management plans.
  • Develop and deliver a Regional Weeds Strategy for the Cradle Coast region.
  • Collaborate with experts to investigate and analyze weed data collection models.
  • Implement on-ground works and weed management plans across diverse properties and land tenures.
