About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Analyst to join our team at Linfox. As a Commercial Analyst, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining processes to analyze the sustainability and performance of our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Commercial Models: Create detailed commercial models to analyze financial outcomes from operational scenarios and support strategic decision-making.
  • Provide Financial Reporting: Offer commercial financial reporting and financial analysis to support the review, approval, and execution of continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
  • Implement Continuous Improvement: Implement continuous improvement initiatives and present directly to a portfolio of key customers.
  • Financial Performance Analysis: Provide analysis and support to help the business understand financial performance compared to the plan, assisting operations management and the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Create effective reporting tools for billing templates using Power BI to improve understanding of operational and financial fundamentals and facilitate the transition to digital platforms.
  • Weekly and Monthly Reporting: Prepare weekly and monthly reporting relating to operational performance based financial reporting and financial KPIs.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Regularly connect and collaborate with various stakeholders, including key customers, to maintain and strengthen successful relationships across the business.
Requirements
  • Financial Analysis Experience: Extensive experience in financial, economic, and statistical analysis or modeling.
  • Financial Reporting Skills: Demonstrated experience in financial reporting with a solid level of commercial business acumen.
  • Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, or Business, along with CA or CPA certification.
  • Technical Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and computer literacy, with proficiency in Power BI and SAP required. Advanced Excel skills are required.
