Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people?

As a Youth Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to mentor and support young individuals in need within the community.

Before commencing, you will participate in a comprehensive half-day induction that provides valuable insights into the role, your team, and the broader industry.

We are committed to fostering meaningful relationships and take the time to understand your interests and skills to match you with young people whose needs and personalities align with yours.

This role allows you to make a significant impact by helping young people in crisis achieve their goals and become more engaged in their communities.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- One-on-one goal-based support: meeting goals while participating in community activities,
- Supervised transport: assisting children/young people to school or around the community,
- Supervised contact visits: accompanying children/young people during visitations with family,
- Respite/in-home support: helping establish and maintain routines within families experiencing adversity, and
- Overnight residential care support: becoming part of a team that supports children/young people who are in 24-hour/7-day care.

**Location**: Central Coast NSW - willingness to travel if needed.

**Requirements:**

- Current employee working with children check,
- Clear criminal history check,
- Relevant NDIS workers screening (NDIS worker check),
- Current first aid certificate,
- Reliable clean vehicle and valid NSW driver's license (P1 & P2 accepted),
- Strong English speaking and literacy skills to effectively communicate and engage with participants.
