About the Opportunity

We have exciting opportunities for experienced Assistant Village Managers and Village Managers to join our Operations teams at Civeo Villages located in the Gunnedah Basin, approximately six hours northwest from Sydney.

The main duties of these positions involve leading and managing operational services carried out at a Civeo Village, inspiring and developing Department teams to deliver safe, consistent, profitable, world-class hospitality services (including housekeeping, reception, security, day-to-day maintenance, grounds maintenance, retail, bar, administrative, and food and beverage services) to a gold standard level of customer and employee satisfaction, while delivering EBITDA targets.

To act as an ambassador for Civeo brand in local communities where Civeo Villages are located, ensuring Civeo is part of those communities, has good knowledge of those communities, and makes an authentic contribution to their prosperity.

About You

To be successful, you will have:

  • Demonstrated relevant work experience in a management or supervisory level role within the commercial hospitality industry.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a business or hospitality discipline (desirable).
  • Certificate II in Security Operations (qualification will be offered to successful applicants who do not hold this).
  • A Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate (RMLV preferred).
  • Advanced First Aid certificate (qualification will be offered to successful applicants who do not hold this).
  • The ability to pass a pre-employment medical including alcohol and drug screening.
  • A National Police Clearance or be willing to obtain.
  • Documentation to prove working rights within Australia.
  • Experience in high-volume, fast-paced work environments.
  • Competence to train/assist in staff training.
  • Capability to work well under pressure.
  • Excellent computer and administrative skills.
  • Highly developed financial analysis skills.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with accommodation software packages (preferably RMS9).
  • Remote work experience (highly regarded).
  • Current Driver's Licence (highly regarded).

Estimated Salary Range: AU$85,000 - AU$110,000 per annum
