Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced professional to drive inclusive, culturally informed projects that enhance Aboriginal participation in sport and active recreation across NSW.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive impact through transformative initiatives.
  • Design and deliver culturally informed programs that align with the 2024-2028 Strategic Priorities and meet our Reconciliation Action Plan commitments.
  • Contribute to shaping inclusive policies, fostering cultural competence, and building strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Manage complex projects from end to end and guide a dedicated team.
About You:

  • Prior experience supporting multiple complex projects with competing priorities and tight timeframes.
  • Proven research and analytical skills to support project planning and informed decision-making.
  • Understanding of Aboriginal culture, governance, and community structures, with a strong commitment to culturally respectful engagement.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic, evidence-based initiatives aligned with the Reconciliation Action Plan and broader goals.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and navigate diverse perspectives to drive inclusive outcomes.
  • Leadership capability to guide and mentor a team, foster innovation, and embed continuous improvement in project delivery.
