We are seeking an experienced professional to drive inclusive, culturally informed projects that enhance Aboriginal participation in sport and active recreation across NSW.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will lead high-impact projects that strengthen the inclusion and participation of Aboriginal communities in sport and active recreation across NSW. Working in close partnership with communities, stakeholders and internal teams, this role is responsible for designing and delivering culturally informed initiatives that align with the Office of Sport Strategic Priorities and meet our Reconciliation Action Plan commitments.

  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and navigate diverse perspectives to drive inclusive outcomes.
  • Leadership capability to guide and mentor a team, foster innovation, and embed continuous improvement in project delivery.

This is an identified position, and the successful candidate will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of Aboriginal Culture and Aboriginal community governance and structures.

To be eligible to apply for this position, you must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident or hold a valid Australian working Visa for the duration of the appointment.
