Open Source Channel Growth Specialist

As a pioneering tech firm at the forefront of innovation, we are shaping the world of software. Our platform is widely used in groundbreaking enterprise initiatives such as public cloud, data science, artificial intelligence, engineering innovation, and IoT.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving assigned annual growth quotas by identifying, prospecting, and engaging reseller and distributor partners to build and maintain relationships and grow our business within the assigned territory.
The Role Involves- Developing and executing channel strategy for distributors and resellers within the assigned territory.
- Increasing awareness of Canonical as a leading player in Open Source and Cloud (Private, Hybrid, Multi, and Public models).
- Identifying and recruiting new potential partners in assigned territory.
- Utilizing personal network and prospecting skills to engage new partners and build on existing relationships.
- Guiding partners through onboarding and enablement processes.
- Developing mutually beneficial go-to-market plans and commitments with partners.
- Arranging and executing sales and pre-sales trainings to these resellers.
- Driving and managing channel pipeline through recurring partner interactions.
- Supporting partner satisfaction and acting as trusted advisor and point of contact.
