Maintenance Planner Job

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team supporting operations on a well-established LNG plant in Darwin, NT. This role will commence on site as soon as possible.

As a Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance activities, ensuring all tasks are executed efficiently and effectively. You will utilize your expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, and fabrication trades, along with your proficiency in a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), to maintain the technical integrity and production of our plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed maintenance plans and schedules for electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Utilize CMMS to manage work orders and maintenance tasks.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.
  • Use specialized software to create and manage schedules and reports.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety standards and regulations.
  • Monitor and report on maintenance performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure clear understanding and execution of maintenance plans.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in the use of CMMS.
  • Experience with specialized software such as SAP, Oracle, Primavera P6, MS Excel, and MS Project.
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to present information clearly and effectively.
  • 10+ years of planning/scheduling experience in a similar hydrocarbon facility or related industry.
