Professor Role
">This is a full-time continuing appointment at our Toowoomba campus. We are seeking an experienced academic leader to join our collaborative and forward-thinking team.
">The successful candidate will drive excellence in nursing education and research by leading high-quality, student-centred teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programs. They will also provide academic leadership in curriculum development, program coordination, and scholarly teaching practice.
">The professor will conduct and lead impactful research aligned with the university's strategic priorities, including securing external funding and supervising HDR students. They will foster collaboration across disciplines and with industry, government, and community partners.
">Mentoring and supporting academic colleagues in learning, teaching and research approaches to support their professional development is also a key responsibility of this role.
">Requirements
">We are looking for an experienced academic with a national reputation and a passion for nursing education and research. The ideal candidate will bring:
">A doctoral qualification in a discipline relevant to Nursing.
">Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
">A distinguished record of teaching excellence and scholarly achievement.
">Demonstrated experience in delivering engaged and reflective approaches to teaching that produce the best possible outcomes for students.
">Proven leadership in research, including high-quality publications, external funding, and industry engagement.
">Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to mentoring, collaboration, and inclusion.
