Teaching Academic Position in Nursing

We are seeking an academic with a strong personal and professional ethos of integrity and compassion who enjoys working as part of a collaborative and supportive team. The successful candidate will teach into our undergraduate programs via blended delivery, incorporating contemporary approaches to pedagogy, and engage in scholarly teaching and practice within their discipline.

The School of Nursing and Midwifery provides excellent education and research opportunities for nursing and midwifery students and professionals in partnership with diverse communities.

  • An honours degree or higher qualification in an area relevant to nursing;
  • Registered Nurse or Registered Nurse and Midwife, without condition, with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA);
  • Demonstrated knowledge of, and experience in, nursing;
  • Demonstrated teaching expertise with capacity to teach successfully into nursing programs via blended delivery;
  • High level oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build constructive and effective relationships.
