Nursing Academic Leadership Opportunity

UniSQ's School of Nursing and Midwifery invites applications from experienced academic leaders to drive excellence in nursing education and research. As an Associate Professor, you will play a key role in shaping the future of nursing education and advancing healthcare across regional and outer-metropolitan Queensland.

We are seeking an experienced academic with a strong national reputation and a passion for nursing education and research. You will bring:

  • A doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Current registration or eligibility for registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • A distinguished record of teaching excellence and scholarly achievement.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering engaged and reflective approaches to teaching that produce excellent student outcomes.
  • Proven leadership in research, including high-quality publications, external funding, and industry engagement.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to mentoring, collaboration, and inclusion.
