International Research Program Manager

The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced research program manager to lead our DFAT-funded Partnership for Australia-Indonesia Research (PAIR) Sulawesi program.

This is a dynamic international role that involves managing the end-to-end delivery of a complex, cross-border research program. The successful candidate will develop and implement operational plans, oversee project timelines, manage budgets, ensure the successful completion of deliverables, and implement change management strategies associated with end-of-program outcomes.

The position requires strong project management skills, including experience in developing and implementing operational plans, overseeing project timelines, and managing budgets. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a complex international research environment.

The program team will be responsible for supporting program governance, managing government and university stakeholders in both countries, coordinating research teams, coordinating risk management strategies, preparing high-level reports and briefings, and overseeing contracts and procurement.
