Warehouse Assistant/ Storeperson

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Warehouse Assistant/Storeperson.

  • We are seeking a reliable and organized person who can plan, coordinate, and monitor the receipt and dispatch of goods.
  • The successful candidate will have previous experience in a warehouse environment and be physically fit with a strong work ethic.
  • You will assist in the success of the warehouse function by participating in general warehouse activities including maintenance, administration & completing the allocation of work issued by the Branch Manager,
      and assist the other branch team members in their roles when required.

To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication and organizational skills, be able to multitask, and have a positive attitude towards safety requirements.

Responsibilities:

- Picking and packing orders

- Unloading deliveries, including containers

- Using mobile plant equipment for heavy lifting

- Stocktaking and regular audit checks

- Forklift Licence preferred (training can be undertaken)
