Job Title: Warehouse Operative

This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, organized, and enjoy working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Warehouse Manager with various tasks, including receiving and storing goods, managing inventory levels, and ensuring that all stock movements are accurately recorded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and storing goods according to company procedures.
  • Managing inventory levels to ensure accurate stock records.
  • Coordinating the loading and unloading of goods from containers and trucks.
  • Supplying units for branch processing efficiently.
  • Completing compliance documentation and providing support to manage transport contractors.
  • Controlling freight transport movements and maintaining supplier services.
  • Logistics administration including stock receipt and distribution.
  • Data collation, cross-checking, and investigating discrepancies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A valid LF/LO Forklift/Order Picker/Reach Truck license is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 2 years of warehousing experience in a medium/large facility.
  • Previous experience using ERP inventory management systems.
  • Knowledge and understanding of COR compliance and Load Restraint.
  • Good knowledge of online freight tracking systems.
  • Previous exposure to safety management systems and WHSE aspects of warehousing and logistic environments.
